Kyocera's journey in Europe began as a promising Japanese technology company specialising in fine ceramics. Today, Kyocera Document Solutions stands as a leading provider of business technologies across the continent, with 17 Sales Companies and over 60 international partners throughout the EMEA region.
It is an honor to lead Kyocera Document Solutions within Europe, an industry leader in office technology, software solutions, and commercial printing. Our relentless pursuit of perfection and our commitment to meeting our customers’ evolving needs are the driving forces behind our innovations.
Throughout the past fifty years, we have reached numerous milestones, such as the development of the ECOSYS concept. Our ECOSYS printers and MFPs have set new standards for sustainable and efficient office print solutions. Our innovative nature led us to develop an eco-friendly and economic line of printers and MFPs known as the ECOSYS line. 1992 saw the release of Kyocera Document Solutions’ first ECOSYS printer, the ECOSYS FS-1500. With ECOSYS printers, the environmental impact of printing is minimised by extended-life printer parts. This reduces waste, meaning the customer also spends less on consumables and replacement parts. Governments the world over are pushing for a greater focus on green innovation and companies are implementing more sustainable solutions to meet eco goals. The ECOSYS range exemplifies Kyocera’s legacy of sustainability and commitment to an environmentally friendly future. Additionally, local regional toner recycling programs and our award-winning paper packaging that uses less plastic underscore our commitment to sustainability.
Moreover, our forward-thinking mindset drove us to introduce an environmental friendly concept into the exciting world of production printing. 2020 saw a huge leap forward for Kyocera Document Solutions when our first production printer, the TASKalfa Pro 15000c was introduced. This high-efficiency, low-energy machine was the culmination of decades of experience and it now provides companies with unrivalled return on investment for their production printing needs by using Kyocera’s industry-famous inkjet printhead technology and environmentally safe water-based inks, making them reliable, versatile, and sustainable.
